FUTURE PROJECTS

Arkady is currently incorporating her recent workshop with paperclay into new concepts and testing the limits of the addition of paper fibers to her porcelain.

She is experimenting with combining her sculptures and lanterns into single pieces as a cohesive concept.

​

She is currently building a lantern shaped like a life-sized globe helmet used by early divers depicting images of ocean storms and shipwrecks only seen when the lit from the inside.

​

She is also working on a series of sculptures of mythical creatures that show the juxtaposition of similar creatures from different cultures and environments and how those cultures greatly affect similarly looking creatures.
