Play in Clay
Arkady is now teaching hand building classes at Ceramique Ceramics in Morrisville PA every Monday starting October 5, 2026. Join her each week for a different themed project teaching a specific hand-building technique.
She also provides private event classes where she comes to you and walks you through a project. She then fires it and you can pick it up at the studio or chose to paint your creations and have them re-fired.

October 5
Jack O' Lantern Luminary
Join us while we use the pinch technique to create two adorable Jack O' Lantern luminaires. I will walk you through step by step how to take a ball of clay and turn it into a hollow pumpkin with a lid. You will then get to decorate those pumpkins into your very own Jack O' Lanterns that will hold a candle.
October 12
Witch or Wizard Hat
Join us while we use the slab technique to create a witch or wizard hat. I will walk you through using a slab of clay and a template to build a hat. You can then decorate the hat how you wish. You will also have the choice to turn it into a luminary.
October 19
Sculpt a Bat or Dragon
Join us while we learn sculpting techniques. I will walk you through sculpting your own cute little bat or, if you want to be adventurous, a dragon!
October 26
Kitty Cat mug
Join us while we use the coil technique to build a kitty cat head mug with ears and a tail for a handle. If there is time, you will get to build a hat for it too!
